Frequently Asked Questions

Harvest Physio Co.

1. What services does Harvest Physio Co. offer?

We offer comprehensive physiotherapy services including musculoskeletal rehab, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy, aged care, respiratory, manual handling training, and home visit physiotherapy across select regions in Australia.

2. Do you offer home visits?

Yes! We specialise in home visit physiotherapy for clients who prefer or require care in the comfort of their own environment. Home visits are ideal for those with mobility limitations, post-surgical needs, or simply those who want personalised care at home.

3. Can I claim physiotherapy with my private health insurance?

Absolutely. If you have extras cover that includes physiotherapy, you may be eligible to claim rebates. We provide invoices with item codes for easy claiming through your health fund.

4. Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No referral is needed for private clients. However, if you're accessing physiotherapy through a third party (e.g., NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, or Medicare chronic disease plans), a referral may be required.

5. Are you a registered NDIS provider?

We are not NDIS registered therefore we can not treat participants who are managed by NDIA. However, we find this to be a small percentage of clients and we offer therapy to any participant who's funding is self-managed or plan-managed.

6. Do you treat children?

Yes, many! We have experienced physiotherapists who work with children of all ages. We address developmental delays, coordination concerns, strength and balance issues, sports injuries, growth-related conditions, and more.

7. How long are appointments?

Initial assessments are typically 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your needs. Follow-up sessions are usually 30–45 minutes. We allow enough time to provide thorough, personalised care.

8. Where is Harvest Physio Co. based?

We operate across parts of northern Tasmania and SE Queensland, with mobile services covering homes, schools, and aged care facilities. We also have a small clinic room for convenience in Launceston where treatments are conducted.

9. What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. If we’re assessing a specific area (e.g., shoulder or knee), it helps if that area is easily accessible for assessment and treatment.

10. How do I book an appointment?

You can book via our Book Online button below, email us at help@harvestphysioco.com.au, or call us directly on 1300 15 15 46. We aim to offer flexible times that suit your needs.
